Mahlsapathy-Bhagat, who first called  Fakir as “Sai”, had very close contact with Sai Baba Nealy 50 year; Already achieved the high water mark of ‘purity, virtue, Tapas and wisdom’. Baba made him the Guardian of his body for three day in 1886 and told him “I am going to Allah” in order to re-enter a grihasta royal body by parakaya pravesa. He reached the Supreme end in 11.9.1922, died with “Ram” on his lips.

Narayan Govind Chandorkar-Nana, was Deputy Collector. He was at Jamner along with his pregnant daughter, whose pregnancy was troublesome and risky, with long pain. Baba himself commissioned one Ramkir to go to Nana’s home first, in order to handover a packet of udhi what stopped cry once applied on Nana Daughter Minatai; and paper containing Arati  for the Puja. She had easy delivery.      He was the first and foremost of Baba’s apostles whose labour was the basis of the speed of Sai faith for many decades.

Das Ganu Maharaj-Ganu. When left his Police Constable service, Baba said, ‘Ganu, I shall provide for you and your family’. From the day of the loss of service, he was never in want of food or for clothing and has even become the owner of some plants yielding sufficient support.   He would hold an audience of 2000 people spell bound in rapt attention listening to him for 6-8 hours and he never asked for even one pie and made no collections.   He would always refer to Sai Baba as the living Great Saint whom it would be a great blessing for people to have the darshan of, as a very darshan purified and benefit the visitor. People started in numbers to go to shirdi and See Sai Baba. Does he had been the means of sending some ten of thousands of people to Baba.  The Sai Arti includes several of the bits included by Ganu, which have sent deep into the hearts of the devotees and has caught the fancy of lakhs of people in Sai Baba Bhajan.

H.S. Dixit (kaka) was a leading solicitor with highly lucrative practice and had made his name in notable Trails; And achieving many honours in social and political matters also. Kaka had the opportunity and power to serve Sai Baba and Sansthan for 14 years at great self-sacrifice. H S Dixit with his remarkable legal ability, his worldy wisdom, and great Bhakti, drew up a Scheme and presented it with the signature of number of influential devotees; And got it sanctioned by the District Court in 1922 and that governs Shirdi Sai Sansthan and Baba’s tomb and other affairs. Thus laid the foundation for the success of the present position.

Anna Saheb Dabolkar-Hemadpant. Was a Government Servant, became First Class Resident Magistrate. Served as Honorary Secretary of Sansthan after Dixit and ‘Sai Lila’ Editor. His monumental work- Author of “Sai Sat Charitra”.

When Hamadpant wanted Baba’s permission to write out a complete study of Baba’s lilas, Baba was mooved and blessed; and said “Let him make a collection of stories and experiences, keeping notes and memos. I will help him. He is only outward instrument. He should get rid of his ego; when his ego is completely annihilated, and there is no trace left of it, I myself enter into him and shall myself right my life. Hearing my stories and teachings will create faith in devotees’ hearts, and they will easily get self-realisation and Bliss”.

Sri Upasani Baba was widely regarded as a wonderful Saint with vast and miraculuous powers that could help individuals and even Nations; and that was why the great Mahatma Gandhiji, with a view to secure National welfare, approached him about 1927.

Upasani’s fame drew lakhs people to him, and Sai Baba, as guru, was introduced to Lakh of people of the cause and a source of Upasani’s greatness and powers. “If the chela is so great, how much greater must be the Guru”, people said.

G. S. Khaparde, Advocate of Amraoti, was a notable figure in Indian politics and the law courts of Madhya Pradesh and as legislative council Member. Devotees have to be grateful to him, for maintaining his famous Diary (for Historical value, Source book for research purposes) for nearly four months of his contact with Baba and making them available for Sai literature.

Baba did not give Mantra upadesa except few: One is Mrs.Khaparde that go on saying “Raja Ram Raja Ram
