🌟 A Devotee’s Guide to Sai Baba

🛕 1. Pilgrimage to Shirdi – Journey to Baba’s Land
🧳 Preparing for the Journey:
- Start chant “Sai, Sai, Sai” from the moment you plan your trip.
- Travel with humility, and
- surrendering expectations to Baba.
🌄 What to Do in Shirdi:
- Samadhi Mandir Darshan: Stand before Baba’s resting place with devotion.
- Attend one or more of Four Aartis: Kakad, Madhyan, Dhoop, Shej (Morning, Noon, Sun set and Night).
- Kakad Aarti: Wake up early and start your day with this sacred ritual, when ever possible.
- Visit Gurusthan: Sit silently near the holy Neem tree.
- Visit Dwarakamai & Chavadi: Where Baba stayed and blessed devotees.
- Perform Abhishekam: Ritual, washing of Utsavar Baba’s statue
- Please Keep local distractions, out of your mind. Use the phone at lowest level. Let chanting fill your mind, every moment.
- Collect Udi (sacred ash) and sweet prasadam, after the darshan; apply on fore-head. Take for distribution at Home town, without fail.
🔙 After Returning
- Share Udi (ask, to mix with water and drink) and Baba’s photos with others in need—not for pride, but as seva.
- Consider on the peace and grace you received in Shirdi.
- Continue daily devotion to keep the Shirdi vibration alive.
🏡 2. Making a Holy Place at Home – Shirdi Within
🛕 Daily Worship Practices
- Set up a clean altar or corner for Baba’s statute / photo, at home.
- Light oil lamps (deepam) daily (Baba fonds it) —especially in the evening.
- Chant “Sai, Sai, Sai” throughout the day, particularly when feeling fearful, sad, or happy.
- Offer flower and water, fruits, Prasadam to Baba’s statue.
- Play or sing Sai bhajans.
- Read Sai Satcharitra book regularly; atleast one chapter one day.
- Burn incense or dhoop sticks to purify the space.
- Sit silently, or meditate by visualizing the ‘Baba’s Statue at Shirdi’.
🧘♀️ The Right Devotee Mindset
- Keep Shraddha (Faith)and Saburi (Patience) always.
- Avoid pride—be simple, sincere, and steady in your devotion.
- See Baba in everyone—friend, stranger, or even adversary.
💞 Acts of Seva (Selfless Service)
- Share Udi, Baba’s photos, or spiritual books with others, periodically like Family members Birthdays etc
- Feed the poor or animals with compassion, daily.
- Offer help, without expecting anything in return.
- Donate mindfully to temples or genuine causes.
