"I draw to Me, My man from far off or even across the seven Seas to Shirdi, like a sparrow with a string fastened to its feet"-Shirdi Sai Baba, Indian Spiritual Guru-God

SHIRDI

Shirdi was a small village first, but it attained great importance, on account of BABA contact and became a Tirtha, holy place of pilgrimage.

Though named as international Airport, they are currently servicing only domestic transportation such as to chennai, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, etc. Shirdi Airport is located at Kakadi village, about 14 km South-west of the town of Shirdi in Maharashtra, India. It is the fourth busiest airport in the state after Mumbai, Pune and Nagpur. No public transportation facility. Taxi charge even Rs.600 from airport to Shirdi

Blessed are the people of Shirdi whom He obliged and for whom He came such long distance.

One special peculiarity of Shirdi-pilgrimage was this,

1) that none could leave Shirdi, without Baba’s permission; and if other person did, he invited untold sufferings,

2) but if any one was asked to quit Shirdi, he could stay there no longer.
